At some point you have to start thinking for yourself and do what you can with what you have, or can afford to do. If you need quality human voices, and you are getting paid for quality content then I suggest you make a deal with a professional or semi-professional voice-over person. If you count on real people to really go out of their way to produce good quality audio, think again.

If you have some good mics and such, and you can get them to come to you then you might do a really good job. The problem with using live human voices it having adequate recording equipment to do a good job. Just like in this thread there are recommendations, but even when I hear those recommended voices I am not convinced their recommendations are for better voices.ĭon't ignore the morphing things you can do with voices. The bit about natural human voices may one day be possible, but for now I don't see it. One of my kids complained the voices sounded like computer and I said what were you watching the videos on? I only have the 4 voices I bought from RL store. So, why should I care about the voices when they articulate my messages very well and understandable. This has taken a while for me to adjust my thinking, but I've found people watching my videos that are animated know these are representations of people not people. I can modify the voices some using the morphing tools in crazytalk or Audacity. I'm using the voice pak thing I bought here at RL.
